WORKFORCE INNOVATION AND OPPORTUNITY ACT

In early 2022, Congress began working to reauthorize the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act. Republicans and Democrats in the House and Senate have floated proposals and begun to debate ideas. The Opportunity America Jobs and Careers Coalition’s priority: reform to make the public workforce system more market-driven and more closely aligned with changing labor demand.
