Once one of the most disparaged forms of schooling in the U.S., career education has emerged in the past decade as one of the most promising approaches to equipping students for the future. The state of New Jersey is at the forefront of the new trend, strengthening existing programs and creating new options for students, secondary and postsecondary. An Opportunity America study and half-day conference showcased this innovation and explored its national implications.
