TODAY'S STUDENTS, TOMORROW'S WORKFORCE
A new report released this month by Opportunity America provides a roadmap for change at City University of New York community colleges: reforms to put job-focused education and career success more at the center of their mission and culture. Chancellor Félix V. Matos Rodríguez has made career success a priority for CUNY, and the university has made important strides in this direction. The recommendations in the new report build on that innovation, positioning CUNY to continue delivering on its historic promise of economic mobility.
The chancellor and a panel of distinguished New Yorkers discussed how to make the most of CUNY’s potential to drive economic growth and opportunity for all New Yorkers.
